JeTSI Gives Back

January 10, 2014
Herndon, Virginia– Jeffries Technology Solutions, Inc. (JeTSI) is pleased to announce our December 2013 selections in support of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education. Sharing the vision to promote the understanding and love of science, JeTSI donated $500.00 to the Society for Science and the Public. The Society inspires students around the world through their competitions and Science News publications and website.

We were also once again able to help teachers and students through Donors Choose.org. We selected math and science projects from elementary and middle schools in Virginia. The teachers were quick to send thank you notes even during their Winter Break.

“These resources will create an exciting and fun daily math block by giving students engaging and on-level math skill practice. This will also allow me to meet with struggling students in small groups to provide additional help and support… I know my students will be thrilled to see a box of fun math activities arrive in our classroom after winter break. I appreciate your contributions to my class and this project. Thank you!”

“Words do not express the joy and gratitude you have delivered with this donation.”

“In my class the students are precocious and they want to learn through hands on activities the math and technology they use and hear about in order to understand the world they live in. “

JeTSI is thrilled to be able to help teachers who are passionate and enthusiastic teaching young people the joy of the world around them. These teachers are helping to make math and science real and alive to these young people fostering the next generation of scientists and engineers.
